True Offset Press Printing
This was also an area where in the beginning we did what the majority of our competitors were doing. We bought high-quality digital printers and printed invitations in-house. However, our CEO comes from a printing background and was never completely satisfied with the quality or the efficiency that this process provided. Therefore, this is another area we have improved on in 2009 to give our customers the best possible prints for all their stationery needs.
For our iBuilder layered line and all of our a-la-carte items, we outsource the printing to a professional industrial offset printing company. After many trial jobs with different companies, we found one of the best in the coutry. They have state-of-the-art offset printing equipment, combined with great turnaround times and prices which we can pass on to our customers!
What is the difference between digital printing and true offset printing? The difference is a standard of consistent quality. Offset printing is what all professional marketing firms use, all professional corporations use for their materials, etc. It guarantees consistency in color and distribution of ink for each and every print. Digital printing is a great second option. It is typically used for printing low quantity jobs (which is why most of our competitors go this route). After much research, we have finally found the trifecta - a way to offer you the best in paper, printing and still give you competitive pricing!
Thermography / Letterpress Printing
In 2009 we will begin offering Exclusive Lines of invitations, some of which will include what is called Thermography / Letterpress printing. This is the type of printing where the letters are raised off the paper.
This is a traditional style of printing that has been around since the early 1900s. We have found one of the oldest, most respected printers in this field to partner with to offer you again the best printing for the best prices.
We will also begin to offer you a complete iBuilder Thermography line later this year, so stay posted! It will combine our beautiful designs with your unique touch, topped off by this growing sought-after look!
